Pro-Death

The phrase "Pro-Death" seems so dark, but it is truly the reality of the situation when it is worked out to its logical conclusion. If some are care not for the lives of innocent children, then they must be for their death.

Some facts about those that wear the orange vests:

*We once called them "Deathscorts", as many still do, because they do "escort" children into the clinic to their "death". However, after much prayer, I'm choosing to use the non-derogatory term of "Clinic Escorts". Although we may fail many times, we wish to keep Jesus' words of Matthew 5:44 in the front of our minds, "But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." We will never compromise speaking up and speaking out in truth, but pray that we will be reminded to do so in love.

*We are disappointed that they do not value life. However we understand that they were created in the image of God and understand that while Christ knew they would put on an orange vest to escort women into the clinic to murder their children, Christ died for them. We are sincerely praying for them and pray for the same patience with them as the Lord has with us.

*They are unpaid volunteers for the clinic.

*They are obviously Pro-Choice. Which means that they are not Pro-Life and, thus, Pro-Death.

*In our experiences, they are anti-God/anti-Christian.

*They are typically rude in their demeanor towards Pro-Life people.

*Their mission is to make a human cordon around the women aborting their children so no one can give them information or talk to them about alternatives to abortion.

*As any other lost person, they need to repent of their sins and put their faith and trust in Jesus Christ. While we vehemently disagree with those in the orange vests, we love them and see them as created in the image of God. We must go to our prayer closets and pray for them...even to the point of travail. Please continue to pray for them.

*I had the privilege to sit down with Ken and have a conversation with him about his thoughts on his commitment to volunteering at the clinic. You can read a blog I wrote about the experience HERE. (link coming soon!)
